- Q&A with (data)designer Stefanie Posavec
- Musician Julian Edwardes interprets a graphic score on a modular synthesizer. This should be an interesting performance, considering Julian’s background in visual arts and studies at St. Joost!
Lecture by information designer Paul Mijksenaar about his fascination for visual instructions, from manuals to simple instructions on packaging
Column by Luc Goderie, every week he’ll discuss a different item from Stadsarchief Breda
You can attend the talkshows with your festival ticket.
Stefanie Posavec is a London-based designer, artist and author of Dear Data and Observe, Collect, Draw!
Data is Stefanie’s favoured material, with projects ranging from data visualisation, book design and information design to commissioned artworks, often using a hand-drawn approach.
Her work has been exhibited internationally at major galleries including CCBB (BR), Centre Pompidou (FR) and The Design Museum (GB). Stefanie was Facebook’s first data-artist-in-residence and more recently she was the data-artist-in-residence at the National Maritime Museum (GB). Dear Data (in collaboration with Giorgia Lupi) has been acquired by MoMA as part of their permanent collection.
