Masterclass – Ellen Lupton

As an influential graphic designer, writer and curator best known for her work in the fields of design education and visual communication, Ellen Lupton has a strong connection to posters, as she often uses them as examples to illustrate the power of typography and composition.

In her books and exhibitions, Lupton demonstrates how posters are not only informative but can also make a visual statement. She emphasises how designers can use typefaces, colour and layout to capture the public’s attention and convey a message effectively. For her, posters are an important medium in which the theory and practice of graphic design converge.

A detailed description of this masterclass will follow shortly.
