This weekend, Lowlands is happening. Since 2017, Hansje has been in charge of the festival’s recognisable identity as chief designer. Tokens, banners, stickers, merchandise and much more: all to the hand of Hansje. Her career started with book design. The distinctive self-designed letters soon became internationally popular.
Many books later, she has a huge archive of patterns, some of which had not yet been published. Specially for the exhibition Pattern Park at 3sec.gallery, Hansje searched her archive for personal favourites and used them to create series of five posters.
Good news for all poster lovers: all posters from the Pattern Park series are on sale during our annual Poster Sale. The 2024 edition will take place on Sunday 3 November at Pier15.
