Oliver Kartak
Austrian designer Oliver Kartak started playing with AI image generators when the technology was still in its infancy. It developed quickly and Oliver’s interest in this new way of designing also grew. He has been experimenting with it ever since, with a series of imaginary sculptures, for example.
“With AI I immediately felt that i could project my subconscious and my primal self onto the digital canvas. I work very intuitively and see where it takes me. I love the surprises I encounter. It allows my creative process to be chaotic and playful.” – Oliver Kartak
His recent exhibition “THINGS TO DO IN SUMMER” is currently on display at our 3sec.gallery. This series shows fierce and confrontational images depicted joyfully. The series causes the viewer to think about climate change and the major financial and industrial sectors, which lack long-term vision.
Get to know Oliver better beforehand through this interview we had with him earlier.
